Danny is a biopharma professional with ten years of Medical Affairs experience, and he has held leadership roles within US as well as Global organizations. He has experience working in neurology, immunology, and ophthalmology.
In his current role at Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Danny is a member of the Global Medical Affairs Leadership Team. He is responsible for developing and executing global medical strategy within ophthalmology, focused on the company's geographic atrophy program. He also oversees regional medical strategy for the US and Canada.
Danny is a neuroscientist by training. He completed his PhD at UCSF and his postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University.
